Questions and answers
Will you test an application you did not build?
Yes. We start by learning the application and its documentation, or by talking to the team if documentation is missing. Independent testing is also a good way to check a system before accepting it from a vendor.
Manual or automated tests?
Usually both. We automate repetitive regression and API tests that run on every release, and test new features, usability and hard-to-automate cases by hand.
Can a tester join our team?
Yes. A QA engineer works in your tools and process through team augmentation, billed monthly.
